A scout reports that the Verdesian building in Battery Park City held an event on Thursday in which details were revealed about Goldman Sachs’s retail plans for its building (right) and for the Conrad Hotel (née the Embassy Suites).

NEW KID ON THE BLOCK: OPENSPACE
“Our Sufi practice draws us to work that is awe-inspiring, transporting, transformative, and even healing,” says Ameena Meer, co-founder of the new gallery at 9 N. Moore. The inaugural exhibit (including the work at right) is by a photographer named Pipa.
