What happened to 63? None in existance?
smithers would say that a certain person has deemed the number “63” a hideous number that does not belong in tribeca
I wanted to volunteer my building, but you got it without my saying a word. Excited to be a part of this project. (Though you should know that when the wrought iron door was put on my building in 1994 I complained that it was cheesy looking). #tribecapride.

No. 53 is the coolest photo — I love the glass curtain wall revealing a glimpse of that beautiful barrel vault ceiling inside. What building is that? Nice work on this whole essay – such a huge project and so creative – I love it. :)
@Annika: It’s 53 Park Place. If you drift your cursor over the image you’ll get the address (not sure there’s a way to do that on a phone or tablet…).

Again, loving this series! I’ve taken photos of many of the same ones you have so it’s fun for me to identify them. As you know, many of the low numbers are in my neck of the woods.
