••• I hadn’t realized that 460 Washington’s arches were knocked down before (?) demo got halted. What a bummer. Here’s what it used to look like, if you can’t remember. It’s just maddening that we have no idea what the new building will look like.
••• You have to love how Tribeca Smiles loves holidays. (It says “Polish your fangs,” if you can’t make it out in my lame photo.)
••• The Top Chef Kitchen pop-up in the old Centrico space released more tables yesterday. I think I get these emails because I emailed a question (never answered) to info@topchefkitchennyc.com, so if you want to go, you should try the same thing.
••• Tachi Gallery at Hubert and Washington looks closed, although it could just be between shows. I called the number and it forwarded via Google Voice, which seems like an argument for the former. Maybe it consolidation things at its “Helsinki location.” (Quotes entirely intentional.)
••• One nice thing about All Good Things is you can ask whether, say, the figs are good and get an honest answer (“Yes, but they’re not super sweet.”) I ate four on the walk home. Related: They’re booking private parties, definitely upstairs and I think maybe also downstairs (or will soon).
••• Tribeca Trust has a few spots left for Saturday’s family walking tour of Tribeca. Details here.
••• Nish Noosh, the Medivegeterranean restaurant coming to Church and Reade says it’s looking at 3-4 more weeks before it’ll open.
••• Stuart Parr appears to be using his Parr Studios space on Vestry to showcase a new invention, the ParrLuxe Sea Cabana. The models with Barbie dolls lounging on them are inspired.
