••• The Specials are playing Pier 26 on July 17. Tickets for American Express cardholders go on sale today at noon; everyone else can buy them as of noon on Friday.
••• Maxwell’s is starting up cabaret shows—and looking for talent (see the poster for info).
••• @JenWeberNYC tweeted that “Dig Inn is coming to Hudson & King—week, made! Work lunch hour will be so much yummier.” (Dig Inn is also among the restaurant chains coming to the Brookfield Place food court.) I didn’t try verifying it.
••• Best Made‘s shop will now open mid-May.
••• Jerry’s Café sent out an invitation for its “opening party” on April 6…. Either it means “reopening,” or I’ve been dreaming for several years now.
••• The neon sign at The Elevens, the proposed restaurant at 58 Lispenard, is gone. I think we can assume that the experiment in crowdfunding failed. A shame, because the place sounded like a great addition to northeast Tribeca.
