A SNEAK PEEK INSIDE SPRING STUDIOS
The folks from Spring Studios New York invited me to see the under-construction facility at 50 Varick from the inside (and on the roof). Given the proposed stipulations on the number and size of events, I’m even less sure what the opposition could be at this point. Check out the luscious space and views.

TRIBECA REAL ESTATE ON FIRE!
The first-quarter numbers showed inventory fell more than 30% year over year and to a 12-year-low in the Manhattan residential market! The local economy is strong, interest rates are at an all-time low, foreign interest is still present, and New Yorkers are once again buying aggressively. If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to sell, now is your opportunity! Contact Sophie Ravet for a free market valuation. A Vice President at Brown Harris Stevens and a TriBeCa resident for over a decade, Sophie is one of the leading and most trusted real estate brokers in the neighborhood. FIRST LOOK AT THE NEW FEDERAL PLAZA
It’s a little Vegas—or at least what I wish/imagine Caesar’s Palace would be like, all marble and mod forms. And it sure looks like money was spent. But the plaza will be closed in rainy weather: The marble floor is too slippery to risk a lawsuit.

BUST A RUT ON FIRST-TIME TUESDAY!
Have you made First-Time Tuesday plans yet? I’ll be going to a new restaurant (not mentioning it by name because I prefer to be incognito). Below are four businesses offering special deals—the first three are good any Tuesday in April. In each case, you have to mention Tribeca Citizen and/or First-Time Tuesday, and to be safe, I always suggest printing this and bringing it. And send me a photo of you and your people enjoying whatever you decide to do!
••• Jerry’s Café: All specialty cocktails during happy hour (5 p.m.-7 p.m.) are $5.
••• Churrascaria Tribeca: 20% off all food.
••• Zutto: $3 draft beers.
••• Torly Kid (Apr. 9 only): 25% off everything in the store.
••• If your business wants to offer something special, let me know.

WELCOME TO TWEEBECA: SPECIAL CELEBRITY EDITION!
All good New Yorkers know they’re not supposed to talk to celebrities, but that doesn’t mean they can’t tweet about spotting them out and about. Or hoping to, anyway.
