••• From Grand Banks: “Eek! Rain Delay! We’ll be postponing our opening until after the storm passes. We’re on a boat after all! Weather permitting, we will be open for our 4th of July party tomorrow night and will resume regular hours Saturday (12pm – 11pm weekends).”

••• The Friends of Bogardus Garden are postponing their CB1 presentation (on the final plan for the new park) until September.

••• Opening July 8 at the Skyscraper Museum: “Times Square, 1984: The Postmodern Moment.”

••• Press release: “Taking place at the Brookfield Place Waterfront Plaza alongside the Hudson River, the Lowdown Hudson Blues Festival will kickoff on July 16 with Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings headlining. Indie darlings Lake Street Dive, hailed as ‘unexpected showstoppers’ by Rolling Stone, and The No BS! Brass Band will open.
