••• It appears that Dave Chappelle tickled the ivories at Belle Reve. Reminds me of when Lady Gaga sang at Duane Park (the restaurant).

••• Judy’s comment got me worried that Petite Abeille might be closing before this weekend, I just went by. They said they’d be serving brunch 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (and dinner tonight and tomorrow).
••• Speaking of Petite Abeille…. I heard a rumor that the owners are turning the space into a bar more like one of Petite Abeille’s sister or half-sister properties (Raines Law Room, Jones Wood Foundry, Dear Irving, et al). I also heard that the FiDi one is off. The Yves Jadot Restaurant Group website used to list a FiDi branch of Petite Abeille on its “coming soon” page, but now it’s gone; on the other hand, the Petite Abeille page says “a 4th one will open later this year” (that’s including the Tribeca one, so it may not have been updated lately). Haven’t been able to confirm anything. If they are indeed keeping the space, the “end of the lease” sign is a bit disingenuous.
••• El Vez Burrito is looking more like it’ll open the first week of March.
••• Launch F18 gallery is leaving 373 Broadway for 94 Allen.
••• If you’re missing Kutsher’s, the restaurant is back, sort of, for a “five-course family-style Passover feast” at Ed’s Chowder House on W. 63rd. The menu.
••• Judging from this tweet, I’d guess that New York Sports & Joints is opening on Duane between Church and Broadway.

That picture looks a little like a warped version of Ericsson Place.
