Who’s Onboard at the Fulton Center

I went over to the Fulton Center just in case more signage had gone up—and I hit the mother lode.

I assume this is a newsstand, because it makes tremendous sense for Fulton Center.

FREEDOM WINE CELLAR
A sister shop to Financial District Wine & Liquor on Nassau.

Notebooks and so forth. (Moleskine was said to be coming to Westfield World Trade Center; could its overexpansion actually include two stores so close to each other?)

  1. It does sort of feel like the Fulton Center imay wind up being the “low-end” part of the WTC mall, doesn’t it? All of these make total sense for a train station, but this list doesn’t compare to the parade of luxury going in across the street…

    I wonder if some of the higher-end tenants on this list are going to wind up with some buyer’s remorse after they see the company they’re keeping.

  2. This makes total sense for the Fulton Mall. It can’t ALL be luxury everywhere and shouldn’t be. We need to have regular stores as well and this is a subway station after all. That said, what we DON’T need is another Dunkin Donuts. I hope Irving Farm does most of the business here.
