Over the past year, the Boston sneaker and streetwear shop Concepts ran a series of pop-ups in the storefront at 225 Hudson; now it has become the company’s first, permanent New York City store. The interior is stunning, and I have no doubt that the merchandise is cutting-edge cool. (Is it not remarkable that young people today want to wear Morrissey T-shirts? You’ve come a long way, Moz! Anyway, I may venture back for a Concepts cap and/or the T-shirt below.) A glass door in the rear leads to some sort of as-yet-unrealized outdoor space.
Concepts is at 225 Hudson (between Spring and Canal); cncpts.com.
