Seen & Heard: Antique Garage Opens Tonight

••• Antique Garage’s new Tribeca outpost at 313 Church opens tonight. You can reserve by calling 212-226-0066.

••• Humble Fish, the poke restaurant taking over the former Café Noir space on Lispenard, has a “we’re hiring” sign on the door, so maybe it’s opening soon-ish.

••• Work appears to be starting in earnest at 100 Franklin (on the west side of Sixth Ave. between White and Franklin). Rendering here.

••• Le Relais de Venise, the steak frites restaurant, looks very close to opening its Watts Street outpost.

••• The Subway sandwich shop at 510 Broome, which you know from its ugly yellow paint job, has closed.

••• And the new Janovic on Broome is still closed. (The ceiling caved in last September.)

••• The First Precinct Community Council’s monthly meeting is this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the precinct house (Ericsson and Varick). They paid lip service my issue, but maybe you’ll find it more fruitful.

  1. Partial stop work order was stuck to the fence of 100 Franklin, halting the excavation but allowing completion of the fence. From the complaints and the jobs record listed online, it seems they were digging in the lot without permits.
