Chick-fil-A’s Biggest-Ever Restaurant Will Be in FiDi

I hate to not say “I told you so”—so, I told you so! As first deduced in September 2015, Chick-fil-A finally announced its third Manhattan location at 144 Fulton, next to the Fulton Center. The release says it’s the company’s “largest and most intricately designed restaurant in the country.”

At more than 12,000 square feet, Chick-fil-A at Fulton Street will be nearly twice the size of any existing Chick-fil-A restaurant, with design elements that have never been featured in the chain’s 2,200+ restaurants. Spanning five floors, the restaurant will feature floor-to-ceiling windows on each level allowing for natural light throughout the entire restaurant, a signature monumental staircase accentuated by a skylight, three levels of dining with seating for 140 guests, a semi-private group meeting and dining space, two kitchens, and a rooftop terrace.

They’re planning to open it this winter. Below are some renderings. The photo at the top is from last fall, but I don’t know that the exterior has changed much since.

  1. I was so pleased to see Gothamist give you credit for this!!

  2. I can’t believe that anyone would let these homophobes into our precious city. See… people say they care, but they aren’t willing to sacrifice their payoff or convenience. If you eat here you are a crappy person.
