••• The Ochre/Canvas Home sample sale mentioned last week started off as all Ochre; the Canvas Home part begins tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10 a.m., and ends this weekend, I think. They were only just unboxing merchandise when I took this photo yesterday—so you can expect more than you see here. And get a load of how great the old Artflag office on Jay Street looks with the interior walls taken down. UPDATE 12/6: I went soon after it opened, and there was a lot of good stuff, but budget some extra time for the painfully slow checkout process.

••• Spotting work happening in the former Acappella restaurant, I checked the Department of Buildings website, which has a filing from October for general demolition in the ground floor and basement. There’s no indication of what’s in store for the space, but interestingly, the owner is artist Holton Rower, who once had a studio at 157 Hudson.

••• SLT put up signage for its Tribeca fitness studio at 87 Worth, shooting to open early next year.

••• Roxy Cinema is hosting a Christmas concert by Mark Kozelek and Kevin Corrigan on December 18.
