Seen & Heard: City Winery’s New Performance Space

••• City Winery has a new performance space: “The Loft at City Winery: a new, even more intimate space featuring City Winery’s signature sound, sightlines, and service! Located one floor up from our main venue, it promises guests more ways to indulge their senses with programming that ranges from City Winery favorites to up-and-coming acts to theatrical productions to talks, classes and more. A food menu with concert-friendly plates and full drink menu rounds out the offering.” The capacity is 150 sitting and tentatively 200 standing. If they send a photo, I’ll add it.

••• A friend asked if I knew where around here she could get a tofu scramble, and I came up blank. Anyone know?

••• Love Taste of Tribeca’s new artwork. Don’t be a dumb cluck! Get your tickets now.

••• Shooting this weekend in the Broadway/White area: “C,” which also shot here in 2014. Two shows that have used pseudonyms that are shooting in NYC these days: “Daredevil” and “Mr. Robot.”

••• And Tuesday in the Broadway/Walker area: “Untitled Project L.S.P.”

••• Love the un-collage faces that Robert Janz has been doing.

  1. It’s up by Washington Square Park where tofu scrambles likely abound, but I’ve always thought of Quantum Leap on Thompson as the place to go for that sort of thing

  2. Terri Fidi does really nice tofu scrambles on an English muffin, perhaps they would be willing to do it as a plate vs a sandwich.
