Action at last at Acappella?

First time I have seen the door open (thanks to K. for the better shot) at the restaurant space at One Hudson in, well, a couple years. Acappella closed in April 2017. The guess is that the tenant of the space — who has a long-term lease — is getting it ready for a new subtenant, or at least getting ready to promote the space. There are a few open permits for work with the DOB, filed in February. Here’s hoping!

    So bad news for those who hoped there was some progress at Acapella, a window was broken last night and when I came home this evening a crew was repairing it with a perfect view inside. There hasn’t been any construction, expect maybe some demolition. Not sure, what’s going on but just sad to see it sit there empty for all these years.
