Seen & Heard: Lispenard parties promoted on Instagram

PARTIES AT 46 LISPENARD
A reader spotted the party above on a promoter’s Instagram story and put two-and-two together to figure that the “TriBeCa penthouse” is actually 46 Lispenard, where parties have been keeping neighbors awake for months, with police and fire trucks arriving at the building two nights in a row last week.

16 HANDLES IS OPEN
More TK, but here’s a sneak peek of the offerings at 16 Handles, aka N.’s idea of dinner. The frozen yogurt shop opened on Thursday at 155 Chambers.

PIER 26 OPEN FOR WEDDING SHOOTS
Within 48 hours of opening to the public, Hudson River Park’s Pier 26 was already the site of a wedding shoot at sunset. Can’t beat it.

DAMAGE TO WORTH STREET STOREFRONTS
A reader sent these pictures of vandals at work on Worth Street, between Church and Broadway, taken on Friday. There were at least four windows smashed by what neighbors described as a “deranged man.”

  1. On Friday a window was also smashed at NYC Elite on Worth and Church.

  2. How ’bout 46 Lispernard suffer the same fate as this place?

Oh wait, I forgot, 46 Lispernard bribes First Precinct to operate illegally.

  3. Perhaps share this info about the illicit parties to any contacts you might have at large media outlets? That might lead to more response to shut down this incivility.

  4. Is that how that works? I’ve been wondering why the police have not been responding all summer. I’m dying for the bum who’s organizing these ‘parties’ to get shut down. And his obnoxious little yap dogs, too.
