DOWNTOWNERS SUE CITY OVER HOMELESS SHELTER
To fight the arrival of 235 homeless men to the Radisson Hotel on William, a group of Fidi residents have filed an Article 78 proceeding that allows citizens to challenge the actions of a city agency.

CITY WINERY OPENS AT PIER 57
City Winery, which was kicked out of its original home on Varick and Spring, has reopened in Hudson River Park‘s Pier 57 with tons of outdoor space.

The Greek has moved in with Greca, combining two Greek restaurants and a market; Laughing Man now has an expansive shop next door; Pier 17 brings back the pumpkin arch.

PIER A IS STILL CLOSED AND IN FLUX
Pier A Harbor House, which opened in 2014 in The Battery, is closed for the foreseeable future. It’s a loss, especially given its generous outdoor space.
