KEEGAN MICHAEL-KEY HAS LEFT JENGA
The Real Deal reports that Keegan Michael-Key sold his apartment at 56 Leonard. “The comedian and actor was asking $5.49 million for his 35th-floor unit at the Alexico Group building, famously designed by Herzog & de Meuron. Ultimately, property records show Key sold it for $5 million, according to the New York Post. The buyer of the unit has not been publicly identified.”

WINDOWS STAFF STILL GATHERS EVERY YEAR
Staff from Windows on the World Restaurant Opportunities United was founded in 2001 as a relief center for Windows workers and is still fighting for restaurant employee rights and social justice in the industry, according to a story in USA Today. Management created Windows of Hope, which raised millions of dollars for displaced workers, and is still providing financial aid for their children. “And a tradition was born. Those who survived meet up every year on Sept. 11 to reconnect and honor the dead. They’ll gather again, most likely on video chat this year, on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.”

7 DEY IS COMPLETE
Crain’s has a story on 7 Dey Street, a 34-story rental tower with 209 apartments. The building will have three floors of office space and a retail section as well. The developer, SL Green, took financial breaks conferred under the Affordable New York Housing Program, which abates property taxes for 35 years in exchange for SL Green’s offering 63 of its units at below-market rates for certain income bands.
