A panel of experts will discuss the fight to pass the bill, the significance of pay equity and how the job market is changing on a daily basis. Tickets are $5 here.

A notice for a new liquor license for Bâtard had me worried, but a call from Drew Nieporent assured me that this is just the addition of a new business partner, and the SLA requires a new hearing. That space housed Nieporent’s very first restaurant in the neighborhood — before Nobu and before Tribeca Grill: Montrachet, which opened in 1985.
