MOVIE NIGHTS IN WASHINGTON MARKET PARK
The Friends of Washington Market Park‘s first 2023 movie night will take place Friday, Sept. 8, with “The Little Mermaid.” Mark your calendar for Sept. 22 for “Dirty Dancing.” Both start at 7:30p.

ORANGETHEORY FITNESS COMING IN OCTOBER
Orangetheory Fitness, the national chain that has been renovating the old Ninja space on Hudson and Duane, said they are aiming for early October. I am looking forward to a tour next week and will report back.

BIG GAY ICE CREAM COMING SOON?
A. sent this shot — I have had zero luck in getting anyone at BGIC to get back to me, but at least the benches show they are still coming… This at 450 Washington between Desbrosses and Watts. They have been working on the space since last December.

TACO BELL “CANTINA” COMING TO WTC
A. wrote to say there’s a Taco Bell Cantina opening soon in the Westfield mall, across from the memorial. Their “Cantinas” feature an urban restaurant design, open kitchen, custom menu with shareable appetizers and alcoholic beverages. Think Taco Bell with beer, wine, sangria and twisted Freezes.
