SARAH-KATE REMS LAUNCHES NEW MEDICAL PRACTICE
Battery Park City resident Sarah-Kate Rems is opening her first boutique medical aesthetics practice (Botox / fillers / microneedling / PRP) in NoMad on Fifth and 28th Street on Sept. 5 after more than a decade of work in women’s health and anti-aging medicine. Originally from California, Rems has a bachelor’s in cellular biology from Cal Poly, a second bachelor’s in nursing from NYU, and her master’s in nursing from Columbia, where she was certified as a nurse practitioner. The weather is not looking good for Sunday’s Dinner on Duane event, so the Friends of Duane Park is moving the sold out dinner indoors. F.E. CASTLEBERRY COMING IN OCTOBER
F.E. Castleberry, the eponymous store from the formal menswear designer, is aiming to open on Oct. 15ish at 246 West Broadway, just south of Grandaisy. I can’t picture what was there before; the last record I have is from 2014, when all four floors were set to be the Fashion Bar Social Club! More TK.

FBI AGENTS DISCUSS THE 1998 EMBASSY BOMBINGS
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will host a free talk titled 25 Years Later: The 1998 US Embassy Bombings and the FBI’s Investigation on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 6p. On August 7, 1998, truck bombs exploded at U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 people and injuring more than 4,000. The FBI’s investigations of the attacks, codenamed KENBOM and TANBOM, were at that time the largest deployment in Bureau history. Retired FBI Special Agent in Charge Mary E. Galligan is joined by retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent John Liguori will be in conversation with museum director Clifford Chanin to reflect on both investigations. RSVP here.
