BRUNCH SOON AT EATALY SOHO RESTAURANT
The new Eataly Soho is launching the brand’s first ever brunch starting March 16. They will serve dishes with an Italian flair — tiramisu pancakes, spaghetto alla carbonara, avocado toast with whipped ricotta and a selection of fresh Italian pastries.

ARTIST TALK AT BORTOLAMI
Bortolami gallery at 39 Walker will host a conversation between Eric Fischl, Chloe Wise and Sheri Pasquarella on the work and legacy of Philip Pearlstein on Friday, March 15, 6p. The event coincides with Pearlstein’s upcoming exhibition Figures, props, objects and other things, opening March 8 at 39 Walker. More info here.

FOR RENT ON CHAMBERS?
James Bogardus sotted a for-rent sign above the spaces that have 16 Handles and iPizza at 155 Chambers. They said they were not closing when I asked but… iPizza moved there from its bigger space down the street in November 2022.

PACE UNIVERSITY ADDING AN AI LAB
Pace University’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems is launching a new artificial intelligence lab in the new building at 15 Beekman. The training programs there will be open to students, faculty and staff, of course, but also local businesses and community members through planned meetups and networking. Next year, the university will launch two new graduate programs dedicated to artificial intelligence. More info here.
