Pret A Manger, the British fast food chain that first opened at 100 Church at Park Place in 2011, has closed permanently. There are still 44 locations in the city, including the World Trade Center, Broadway and Thomas, and three more in Fidi. Still, I was surprised to see what I thought was a pretty popular location close. Thanks to G. and D. for the heads up.

The company opened its first shop in London in 1986. Broad Street, opened in 2000, was its first location in the US.

Broadway and Thomas opened in 2014 and one on Chambers opened in 2015, but that closed three years later.
