We’ve been trying to figure out what’s coming to 124 Hudson, the space just south of Tribeca Community School between Beach and North Moore, and the Commercial Observer had the answer (thanks to G. for spotting): a Pilates studio called Sancta.

The CO called it “high-end” and said they specialize in Reformer Pilates. They took 2,350 square feet. Cross-fit trainers are taking the former Citi space across the street.

Sancta has a website but not a lot of info there — other than that they open in January.

The OG here in the neighborhood is of course Real Pilates, which has been on one part of Duane or another since 1996.

And there’s been a more recent wave: STRONG is coming to Broadway and Worth in October; Amare opened upstairs on West Broadway and Warren; Ethea on Leonard is a combo of Pilates and sculpt; Fuze House opened in 2025; WundaBar opened in 2024; and there’s also Nofar, which opened on Thomas in 2023.
