Like the original Two Hands on Mott Street, the Tribeca outpost serves breakfast, lunch, and coffee. The menu is mainly focused on light, vegetable-focused dishes, and with pale wood and whitewashed brick, the room has the familiar Two Hands vibe. The dyed concrete floor, inspired by the Bronte Baths, a seaside pool in Sydney, is particularly stunning. Note: You can order takeout at the restaurant, but you can’t call it in. And cash is not accepted.
I liked this place the one time I ate here but didn’t like that they charge for each coffee refill as if each was a new coffee order. Who does that in NYC? So I don’t plan on going back here until they change their coffee policy. It’s not that I can’t afford it. It just feels like a petty little ripoff.
