••• Still no signs of life at City Vineyard at Pier 26. On February 10, at the CB1 Tribeca Committee meeting, the folks behind the restaurant said work would be starting in two to three weeks and it’d open around May 1. (I have no doubt they’d love to get working on it and that the delay is bureaucratic.) UPDATE: “We are very excited and motivated to get open,” commented City Winery’s Michael Dorf. “Yes, the challenges of a very public location, the bureaucratic building process, among other licensing, has taken longer than anyone would have imagined. Nevertheless, we have our contractor, our plans, our insurances, etc. even building materials ready to go. The space is going to be very beautiful, we are confident the vines will be planted in soil and be growing in the springtime. We believe the wine will be flowing in June. Stay patient. We are on it.”

••• JR’s ballerina mural is having a rough spring. In October, 100 Franklin developer DDG announced that the Landmarks Preservation Commission permit had been extended to this summer, but the mural doesn’t seem like it’ll make it that long.

••• The windows at the Chipotle at 404-406 Broadway were uncovered yesterday, and the restaurant looks like it could open very soon.

••• I don’t think I knew that WeWork was opening yet another coworking location coming to the area: 428 Broadway, at the southeast corner of Howard.

••• Those of us who miss the Farinella pizzeria that used to be on Worth can take a tiny shred of comfort in knowing that there’s now a location on the Upper West Side (Amsterdam between 72nd and 73rd), as I noticed yesterday. And looking online, I see there’s also a second one on the Upper East Side.
