••• The Seaport’s Mark Joseph Steakhouse reopens today.
••• Cricketer’s Arms, the pub replacing Uncle Mike’s on Murray, is planning to open later this week.
••• On this post, James commented that he has heard a rumor that Bread Tribeca is moving to 35 White St. (where White & Church sort of is now). It certainly is a logical spot, and someone is applying for a liquor license there. We’ll know more next week….
••• The reader known as Hudson River, meanwhile, hears that the Wagner Park ice rink is opening Tuesday. (Update: Now it’s “maybe Wednesday.”)
••• Shooting today and tomorrow on Murray: Untitled John Turturro Film. IMDB seems to think it’s called Fading Gigolo: “Fioravante decides to become a professional Don Juan as a way of making money to help his cash-strapped friend, Murray. With Murray acting as his ‘manager,’ the duo quickly finds themselves caught up in the crosscurrents of love and money.” It costars Woody Allen (back so soon!), Sofia Vergara, Sharon Stone, Vanessa Paradis, and Liev Schreiber.
••• Came across this John Bartlett sale/event online….
