••• A “we’re hiring” sign at the Parm in Brookfield Place says the restaurant is opening this week. It’s going to be huge—it goes quite a bit down North End Ave. You can peek through the torn parts of the papered windows; the inside isn’t quite done so I wouldn’t be surprised if the opening is pushed back a bit.
••• All of the doors at what will be Maison Kayser were open yesterday. Boy, are they carving that space up.
••• The sanitation garage at Spring and West got a spiffy sign.
••• And Ned Baldwin’s Houseman, which could open by late this month, has a pretty awning.
••• Last week’s “Where in Tribeca…?” (of a Miller High Life canister) proved to be a stumper. The answer has been posted.
••• Checking in on the building going up at 133 Greenwich, just below the World Trade Center. It’ll be a 30-story Courtyard by Marriott.
••• Press release: “Trinity Preschool will be able to serve children and families from a wider range of socio-economic backgrounds through a new needs-based financial aid program beginning in the 2015-2016 school year.”
