Is there a map showing the location of all these public spaces? — JG on In the News: Public Plaza Abuse
At the end of March, the Four Seasons said, “We are expecting it to be completed and open in the spring of 2017." https://tribecacitizen.wpengine.com/2017/03/25/seen-heard-alpha-jets-trailing-patriotic-smoke/ — Erik Torkells on In the News: Public Plaza Abuse
Re: plazas. Any update as to when the public plaza the Four Seasons built adjacent to the building will be open to the public? — Sus on In the News: Public Plaza Abuse

The plaza east of 111 Murray is 10,600 square feet. (There's more info on it at https://tribecacitizen.wpengine.com/2015/06/11/first-look-the-full-monty-on-111-murray/.) Somewhat ironically, the people most likely to use it are the workers across the street at 101 Barclay. — Erik Torkells on In the News: Public Plaza Abuse
Re: public space. Speaking of being taken by developers, did we learn the dimensions of the public plaza in the building rising on the old St. Johns plot? Lets do a sit in! Re: slow ticket sales for TFF. It's not inexpensive to go see these movies. Some of the movies are dated and of questionable quality. Also Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. There are so many other ways to see new or interesting movies. They need to adapt, as does every other film festival. Better to try and stay relevant, then fall off a cliff in a few years. — cami on In the News: Public Plaza Abuse
The other day I saw somebody attempting to avoid Holland Tunnell traffic on Hudson by taking a left on Laight, turning around and going reverse UP Greenwich (against traffic) for three blocks and then turning back towards Hudson on Watts. SMH — chavanel on Wrong-Way Driver Nearly Hits Pedestrian
We could really use another nail salon. - ha! — Jill on Acappella Is Moving After 23 Years
I've seen traffic infractions like this all over the city--it's not just cops on West Broadway. I regularly see drivers going the wrong direction on streets and ignoring red lights . Add to the mix the pedestrians who cross against lights and in the middle of the block willy-nilly while reading/texting on their phones. Yesterday I saw two people walking against traffic in the middle of the West Side Highway. It's crazy out there, and I'm surprised more people are getting hurt. — Manhattanmommie on Wrong-Way Driver Nearly Hits Pedestrian
i don't know anything about this particular honey but the remedy is tried and true. bee pollen is even better than honey but it is an acquired taste. you need to start taking it over the summer to develop immunity for the following spring. it took my daughter about a year and a half to get rid of 90% of her spring allergies. she takes "elixir" which is mostly raw honey with a little bee pollen mixed in. i've been taking straight bee pollen every day for years. i recommend tremblay aviaries. they have a stand at the north end of union square park on saturdays. — safe as milk on Seen & Heard: Tribeca Honey

I miss stuffy/formal restaurants. Somewhere where you don't hear the F word in every other sentence OR a "no problem" reply when you say thank you. I hope they stay that way when they move. — Mia on Acappella Is Moving After 23 Years
I love Acappella and will definitely visit anywhere they open. The food is delicious and the service impeccable. I believe the Il Giglio space makes sense. — TribecaMom on Acappella Is Moving After 23 Years
Let me know if the honey works. Please, please, please! — A on Seen & Heard: Tribeca Honey
Agree with BPCrez. Very good, but expensive and kind of stuffy/formal. Not kid friendly in my opinion - a good or a bad thing depending on your point of view. My husband and I did enjoy going there from time to time for special occasions. — another mama on Acappella Is Moving After 23 Years

yes, very good over priced Italian food...not all that different from what il gilgio was like. — BPCrez on Acappella Is Moving After 23 Years
I have walked past that place for ten years and never seen anybody going in or out. Has anybody EVER eaten there? Legitimately curious. — veracruz on Acappella Is Moving After 23 Years
That soon to be vacated corner location looks prefect for what? Another bank branch perhaps. Let the guessing begin. — JPL on Acappella Is Moving After 23 Years
Forgot to say I made the resy on Open Table, so no way they didn't know! — Bruce on Seen & Heard: Acappella Closed for Renovation
Acappella "closed for renovations"? Really? Three weeks ago I made a reservation for Saturday April 22nd. (THIS SATURDAY) This was to be a very special evening. This is a "high end" restaurant. Does anyone really believe they would "close for renovations" and couldn't even be bothered to call people who booked way in advance? Hmmmm. Something smells very fishy here, and it's NOT a menu item! Shame on them! Fortunately I saw this story and was able to re-book elsewhere for this Saturday. — Bruce on Seen & Heard: Acappella Closed for Renovation
I donated a kidney to my sister six and a half years ago. Just this past weekend, I was together with my family and my sister was dancing and laughing. My dad pulled me aside and told me that my kidney gave her her life back. Donation is a big decision but one I have never regretted. If you are considering it and want to speak with someone who has been through it, feel free to reach out to me through Erik. — Donor on The Fight of Her Life
It undermines the legitimate authority of law enforcement for the NYPD to turn a blind eye to (i) the use by law enforcement officers (and others) of counterfeit and illegitimate union placards and (ii) the abuse of legitimate placards by law enforcement officers parking in illegal spaces, blocking fire hydrants and crosswalks, etc. "Do as I say, not as I do" theory of law enforcement is hardly a sound basis for a civil society. That is a separate issue from whether there are too many legitimate placards issued by city government. Politicians are being two-faced by claiming to be for the environment (e.g., by instituting fees for plastic bags) while helping to pollute the environment (and make traffic worse) by continuing to subsidize parking, and thus encourage the use of automobiles, by civil servants bearing government-issued placards. — James on Seen & Heard: Rooftop Trampoline
"Civic Virtue" was a fixture of my childhood in Queens. For 17 years or so I looked at it every day. While I find the critique fully legitimate, my feeling toward it is gratitude, because it allowed a little boy to stare at nekkid ladies. Because, you know, it's art. — David G.
