Gotan (pronounced goh-tahn) is a café serving third-wave coffee, breakfast, and a lunch menu of sandwiches, salads, and soup. Everything is made to order except the baked goods, and there’s plenty of seating and free wi-fi and water. The beans are Counter Culture, and there are several ways to have them prepared: standard drip and espresso, of course, but also Kalita Wave pour over and Aero Press (between espresso and drip). When you order food, you’re handed a number flag, and your food is brought to you; when you’re done, you can leave your dishes on your table.
