More fancy than casual

If there were a nice restaurant on Mykonos called Tribeca, it’d probably look and feel like Thalassa—the decor is a mix of downtown loft (airy proportions, wood floors, exposed brick) and Greek yacht (sail-like canvas stretched up near the ceiling, white leather banquettes, blue accent lights). The menu is primarily seafood; besides a smattering of entrées, you can order a whole fish—stored on ice by the bar—and have it grilled with herbs. The service is quite civilized, and accordingly, prices can veer into expense-account territory. Note: There are two large private rooms, one in the wine cellar and one in the “gallery loft.”
