Can’t tell if The Manhattan Proper is related to The Proper in Jamaica, Queens (evidently a.k.a. The Manhattan Proper), but if it is, the DJs and karaoke might be a major concern with the neighbors.

1) 84-86 White Street, application for special permit under section 13-561 of the Zoning Resolution to permit attended accessory parking garage with 22 spaces – Resolution Trying again.
2) 78 Franklin Street, application for Board of Standards and Appeals Special Permit under section 73-36 of the Zoning Resolution for a new health club known as Aqua – Resolution I thought this must be Aire Ancient Baths, the bathhouse coming to that block, but Aire is at 88 Franklin. Between Peter Anthony Fitness and CrossFit 212, this is going to be the fittest block in town (if you don’t pay any attention to Billy’s Bakery).
3) Street Activity Permit application by Judith Duffy (Beaujolais Nouveau Day Tribeca), Thursday, November 15, 2012, West Broadway between Walker Street and White Street – Resolution Not to be a snob, but who are we kidding? Of course I’m a snob. Do people still get excited about the Beaujolais Nouveau?

5) Street Activity Permit application by Real Stories Gallery Foundation, Sunday, July 1, 2012, F/O 36 Laight Street between Varick Street and Hudson Street – Resolution

7) 145 West Broadway, renewal application for a sidewalk café license for The Odeon Inc, d/b/a The Odeon – Resolution
8) 88-90 Reade Street (aka 176 Church Street), application for a restaurant wine and beer license for Dilip Hari d/b/a Corp. to be formed – Resolution Well that didn’t take long! This is the Mike’s Papaya space. I was hoping for gourmet sandwiches…. Searching for “Dilip Hari” online brought up a couple of guys, but this one appears to be the most likely.
9) 450 Washington Street, application for a restaurant wine and beer license for Pachanga, Inc. d/b/a Fika – Resolution Finally! Truffles Tribeca gets a retail tenant! And I was just admiring these little biscotti-type things I ate at the Fika in FiDi. (Fika is a Swedish-ish café that makes chocolates—maybe even truffles!) Good luck to ’em—that’s the Land of No Foot Traffic.
10) 273 Church Street, application for a restaurant liquor license for Paolo Meregalli – PVF Inc. – Resolution Souths is at 273 Church, but finding it impossible to believe Souths is closing, I called and asked. John Griffin of Souths said they’re renewing their liquor license is June, and we wondered if it’s more likely that the address should be where TriBeCafe was, or that strange brick building that was the Fig Leaf Theater. (I’m probably getting the name wrong.) On LinkedIn, a Paolo Meregalli is affliated with VFP & Partners (presumably the PVF mentioned in the agenda) and something called Italia Mia, but the last thing that strip needs is more Italian food.
11) 102 Franklin Street, application for a restaurant liquor license for Eating and Drinking LLC d/b/a All Good Things – Resolution This is the food hall and restaurant you read about here first.
12) 275 Greenwich Street, application for a restaurant liquor license for Chipotle Mexican Grill or Collorado, LLC d/b/a Chipotle Mexican Grill – Resolution Holy guacamole! A Chipotle is coming to the Greenwich Court building—must be the old Little Pie Co. space? (I did long ago say that Chipotle should open on Chambers.) CORRECTION: 275 Greenwich is actually between Warren and Murray, so this must be the old Twin Café space.
13)  325 Broadway, application for a beer only liquor license for 325 Broadway Café, LLC d/b/a Arome Café  – Resolution

The following notices have been received for renewal, upgrade or transfer of wine and beer or liquor licenses:
• 353 Greenwich Street (aka 19 Harrison Street), renewal application for restaurant liquor license for MaryAnn’s 353 Mex, Inc.
