Craig Bero showed me around the Cosmopolitan Café’s Secret Room, where he displays some of the many treasures he has gathered from around the neighborhood. “That hole outside?” he says of the Chambers Street dig. “I was in there last night.”

The Tribeca outpost of the popular fitness facility—where type-A personalities go to sweat together—has opened at 1 York. Classes can be purchased individually, but through today (Monday), you can mention Tribeca Citizen for a deal on the Tribeca Gold membership.
