residential and commercial buildings on a single zoning lot – Resolution My guess is the developer realized it needed this approval but that the design we’ve already seen (above) is still the current one. And that this means work will start soon.
2) 11 Sixth Avenue, application for enclosed sidewalk cafe for Eleven Food and Beverage 
Corporation – Resolution There’s no point in applying for a sidewalk café permit when the building isn’t even done. The only question is how long the committee will discuss it before telling the applicant to wait till the place is open.
3) 67 Reade Street, application for restaurant wine and beer license for New Sun Café 
Japanese Cuisine Inc. – Resolution
4) Worth Street Reconstruction Project – Preliminary presentation by New York City 
Department of Design and Construction That’s right: Just as the Chambers and Hudson reconstruction projects start to wind down, the next one—Worth Street—ramps up.

Broadway where Babesta Threads and Frankly Wines are…. The rumor had been that something was happening there, but the owner of the properties denied it. (Or do they mean the east side, which is on the market and likely to be torn down?)

    Do you know when they are going to be finished with all the construction on Hudson street?

    • The DDC has said for a long time now it’ll b done in 2014. They usually speak up if they’re missing the deadlines, and I haven’t heard anything. If it doesn’t seem to wind down in the next two months, I’ll ask them again.

  2. Any idea what’s going into the new commercial space on the ground floor of 10 Hubert Street? Workers have covered up the neon signage on the interior, however a neighbor mentioned a Jack Erwin shoe boutique. Any intelligence would be greatly appreciated!
