Seen & Heard: Pier 25 Party Boat Update

••• Two new items on the CB1 Tribeca Committee agenda (the meeting is this Wednesday, March 9):

—Street permit application for Love Compost on Saturday, May 7, 2016 Duane Street between Greenwich and Hudson Streets – Resolution
—404 Broadway, application for liquor license for Chipotle Mexican Grill – Resolution

••• Also, the application for a vessel liquor license for a boat docking at Pier 25 has been withdrawn. (Not to be confused with Grand Banks, which is returning.)

••• No guesses yet for yesterday’s Where in Tribeca…? Surely you’ve walked right over these diamond-shaped vault lights….

••• Opening March 17 at Patrick Parrish: “Introducing a new series of FOAME paintings, Moretti creates images both hard edged and soft toned with wavy lines, pastels both attractive and grotesque, providing a charged plane to sink into. With compositions made of air-brushed vector renderings, typographic and squiggly lines, the paintings reference the language of commercial design, Miami foam parties, and natural sea-foam.”

••• From a Cushman & Wakefield email about 104 Franklin, which is newly on the market: “There is a retail tenant [Egg by Susan Lazar] that occupies the ground floor and partial cellar storage space who pays approximately $18,800 per month with 3% annual escalations through the lease termination date of 6/30/24. The lease includes an owner termination clause that can be exercised on the 5th anniversary of lease commencement (6/30/14). The 2nd and 5th floor floor-through units will be delivered vacant upon closing, while the 3rd and 4th floor tenants are on short-term leases.”
