HEARING ON PIER 40 DEVELOPMENT
Check the website for a post on tomorrow’s hearing on Pier 40. Local electeds will hold a public forum on Tuesday, May 28, 6 to 8p, 75 Morton, on potential legislation to amend the Hudson River Park Act — with the idea to permit office use so the pier can be redeveloped. Hosted by Assemblymember Deborah Glick, state senators Brad Hoylman and Brian Kavanagh, Congressmember Jerrold Nadler, City Council Speaker Corey Johnson and Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer.
