200 CHAMBERS
“Why, yes, I’d love to see your roof,” I posted on Instagram last month, when the owner of a Franklin Street building offered me a peek. That led a resident of 200 Chambers to invite me over to see his roof terrace….

100 BARCLAY
The four large communal terraces on the 18th floor of 100 Barclay offer tremendous views in every direction.

50 MURRAY
A resident of 50 Murray, recently rebranded as Tribeca House, invited me to the communal sundeck. Located on the east side of the 22nd floor, it has terrific views in nearly every direction—and a basketball court.

88 GREENWICH
The folks at 88 Greenwich invited me over to see the 2,346-square-foot deck on the 24th floor of the 1929 Art Deco building. The deck was redone last year, and it looks quite nice.

53 N. MOORE
The common roof deck of 53 N. Moore is only atop the sixth floor, but it has lovely views of 56 Leonard, the Holland Tunnel off-ramps, Citigroup, and the World Trade Center.

270 BROADWAY / 80 CHAMBERS
Besides the outstanding views, there are trees, flowering plants, and even tomatoes, peppers, squash, and apples.

403 GREENWICH
At the new nine-story building at 403 Greenwich, no two units are the same layout—and at the top is a four-floor, five-or-six-bedroom penthouse with three terraces.

8 SPRUCE STREET
Just as I was about to call an end to the “Show Us Your Roof” series, I was offered the opportunity to see the view from a north-facing terrace atop a setback about two-thirds of the way up 8 Spruce Street, a.k.a. New York by Gehry.
