A blog called The Designer Pad featured the Tribeca loft of Danish designer Søren Rose Kjær, “who after commuting between Copenhagen and New York, decided to relocate with his family to the Big Apple.” (I had come across him on Twitter and meant to ask him to do a TCQ&A. His work at Søren Rose Studio is fantastic.) “Søren is an artist, self-taught designer and entrepreneur who […] has designed lighting and furniture collections for companies like Danish and Belgian Muuto and British manufacturer De La Espada.” The blog post is a distillation of a longer article from a Danish website called Bo Bedre, so there may be more about the apartment in the original item, but it’s in Danish (and it’s undated, so it may have come out years ago). For now, all we know is that it’s “in an old factory building and is basically a big open living space with an upstairs that houses the sleeping quarters.” The photos are by Thomas Loof and the original story was by Kasper Foged Rasmussen.
