CUSP GALLERY’S “(END OF) SUMMER SALON 2015″
Through September 18, CUSP NYC Gallery at 466 Washington St. is featuring the “(End of) Summer Salon 2015.” This exhibition features a limited collection of established contemporary artists including Russell Sharon, Tad Lauritzen Wright (whose “Art Should″ is pictured above), Karim Ghidinelli, and others. The work ranges from abstract and gestural to bold and graphic. Most of the pieces use experimental and non-traditional techniques to create powerful, exciting works of art. Why shouldn’t there be corn growing on Church Street? I thought about asking at Petrarca if the restaurant was responsible, then I decided I preferred imagining that the corn sprouted up on its own.
