In June, I wrote a bit about Happy Science, intrigued enough by the Franklin Street storefront to poke around the group's website. A couple of months ago, Happy Science's PR rep invited me to act like a real journalist and take a meeting with Happy Science USA CEO Yuki Oikawa.
Upcoming at Poets House
Poets House has released its winter/spring 2010 schedule, and while I like poetry—seriously, I even subscribe to Poetry magazine!—I don’t know enough about it (which is to say I have a hard time remembering poets’ names) to feel comfortable singling any event out.
