An Early Look Inside Pier 17
The other night, I attended a party in a raw space on the fourth floor of Pier 17, the tent-pole attraction at the reinvented South Street Seaport, now calling itself the Seaport District. There were spectacular views in three directions, but of equal interest was the journey to and from the event.
