The new downtown outpost of Eataly, on the third floor of 4 World Trade Center, includes five restaurants: Osteria della Pace, the relatively fancy option; the self-explanatory La Pizza & La Pasta; a wine bar called La Piazza; Orto e Mare, serving “vegetable-forward small plates” from breakfast through dinner; and a space, Le Stagioni, used for rotating concepts. The restaurants are mainly pushed the perimeter; with breathing room and natural light, they’re more pleasant than their counterparts uptown. Eataly also has myriad counters, serving sandwiches, flatbreads called piadine, salads, coffee, gelato, and more.
