Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque
225 Liberty St.
(bet. Vesey and Liberty)
American (Traditional)

As you might expect, Mighty Quinn’s has the least vegetarian-friendly menu in the Brookfield Place food court, Hudson Eats. You order Chipotle-style, choosing a meat (“naked” or as a sandwich) and then garnishes and sides as you move down the counter. The brisket at Mighty Quinn’s is extremely good. Don’t let the photo below fool you: The portion is large. The beans are spicy and tangy (and meaty), and the pommes frites—can you imagine a roadside joint calling them that?—are worthy. Note: There’s beer.
