The burgeoning design district of northeast Tribeca has taken a hit: Brooklyn furniture company Uhuru closed its Franklin Street showroom.
Drawing on the architecture of the building, formerly a lantern factory, Ashley Darryl designed this three-bedroom apartment to be "modern in the lines and rustic in the materials."
The April issue of Dwell features the spartan-but-warm West Street loft of microfinancier Mark Berryman and his dog, Leji. It was designed by Workstead, whose work you know from Arcade Bakery. / 3 comments
