TELEPAN TRIBECA
The Upper West Side restaurant’s pop-up (inside Pécan) opened last week. So how was it?

APRIL RECAP
A lot happened in greater Tribeca last month, but don’t take my word for it…. This seems like an appropriate time to remind everyone that advertising on Tribeca Citizen is a smart move. And if you don’t have a business to advertise, well, tipping isn’t a city in China.

ON THE AGENDAS: MAY 2011
A Bogardus clocktower, Kutsher’s Deli, Casa Masa Taco, health clubs, and more: What CB1 will be discussing this month.

THE NEW WASHINGTON MARKET PARK
I walked up to the park’s entrance this morning, only to find there was no entrance. It has been moved! What’s more, the lawn is resodded and the new restrooms are open.

SEEN & HEARD
••• 4/28 roundup: Hetherington tribute. Plus: “America’s Next Great Restaurant”; Brazilian lunch; Cowgirl Sea-Horse deal; Oak Ridge Boys.
••• Where in Tribeca…? has yet to be solved. Have I  stumped everyone two weeks in a row? Jeez, Smithers, aren’t you back from Boca yet?

WHAT’S UP THIS WEEK
Wonder Woman, jazz greats, stiltwalkers, and Jewish mothers are just a few of the highlights on this week’s agenda.

YOUR WEEKLY REAL ESTATE SALES REPORT
Nine sales in the past week, only one below $2 million. Time to think about selling?

MOTHER’S DAY GIFT IDEAS
Mother’s Day is May 8—that’s just over a week away. Here are gift ideas for the mom(s) in your life, including many special offers (such as a sale at Gary Graham, right). Any mothers reading this, of course, may want to forward it accordingly.

STUZZICHERIA 2.0
Checking in after the restaurant’s reboot.

TRIBECA FAMILY FESTIVAL
I ran an item about what local businesses were planning for Saturday’s Tribeca Family Festival (should’ve run it in time for Thursday’s newsletter—sorry about that), which is now irrelevant. I thought this year’s was much more local-friendly than last year’s. Agree? Disagree?

MOOMAH’S LATEST WORKSHOPS
There are still a few spots left in the spring workshops at Moomah, everybody’s favorite café/craft space, where parents and kids alike revel in the inspired atmosphere and art projects.

PHOTO SAFARI: FAT RAT
This week’s photos were taken on W. Broadway, Reade, Church, Cortlandt Alley, Hudson, and in Whole Foods and Bogardus Garden. By the way, a big thank you to everyone who tends our parks, gardens, tree planters, and so on—the tulips this year, in particular, have been outrageous.
