NOSY NEIGHBOR
Thanks to some helpful sleuths, I believe we can declare this Nosy Neighbor case closed.

SEEN & HEARD
••• 10/20: Beach Street construction; brace yourselves. Plus: François Payard Bakery delay; funky sexy beats at MaryAnn’s; architect Kevin Roche.
••• 10/23: Tre Sorelle restaurant. Plus: Laughing Man café and François Payard Bakery opening tomorrow [i.e., today, Monday, Oct. 24]; more rooftop gizmos; a private gallery goes public; CB1 meeting relocated.
••• Have I stumped you twice in a row on Where in Tribeca…? You have until this afternoon. It’s on a prominent street, above a store that’s been in Tribeca for quite a while.

THE RETURN OF BOWNE & CO.
I had never been inside Bowne & Co. Stationers, but not for any good reason (excluding that it was closed for the past nine months). So when reader Pauline pointed out that the shop had reopened, I got on over there.

IN THE NEWS
••• 10/20: Shorties Deli Cafe. Plus: The Woolworth Building’s “no tourists” sign; the original Zuccotti Park protest; OBAO now open in FiDi; swapping lofts; a $7.50 cookie; film director Andrew Niccol; outdoor furniture indoors.
••• 10/21: Occupy Wall Street arrests? Bloomberg rattles his sword. Plus: “Real World” looking for OWS protester; luxury one-bedrooms; ferry exhaust; new FiDi pizzeria; turning down Tribeca.
••• 10/23: Interior designer Thierry Despont has an exhibit coming up. Plus: Inside Tribeca Loft Tour; shiny benches; Langdon Florist; Russell Brand on his visit to Occupy Wall Street, which is also attracting the homeless; Square Diner.

POP-UP: PATRIK ERVELL
The latest BOFFO Building Fashion pop-up opened yesterday, and it’s just as much a trip as the first two. Artist Graham Hudson created a construction zone of a store for designer Patrik Ervell; imagine if Patron of the New had opened six months early.

COMING UP
Pootie Tang, Little Rascals, amateur humping—and that’s not the least of it.

RECENT REAL ESTATE SALES IN TRIBECA
Nine sales were reported in the past week, including three in 200 Chambers.

PHOTO SAFARI
Blameshifting and other photographic fun. Including an awesome jack-o’-lantern!
