The new Aesop store on W. Broadway, between Edward’s and American Apparel, is among the brand’s larger stores in New York City, but you won’t find much of a build-out. What it does have, in terms of decor, is an exquisite ombré paint job. (It was sprayed on, and of course I asked.) The full Aesop line is here, from the gateway hand soaps and lotions you occasionally find at restaurants and such, to skin and hair care, herbal deodorant, mouthwash, and even pet shampoo and essential oils for aromatherapy. The friendly staffers will lead you to the right products for your needs.
P.S. The name is pronounced eee-sahp. Consequently, I’ve added it to the Tribeca Pronunciation Guide.
Aesop is at 138 W. Broadway (between Thomas and Duane); aesop.com.
