Goop posted photos of Gwyneth Paltrow’s apartment in the River Lofts building, and I wasn’t going to even mention it, because (a) we saw photos of it seven years ago, and (b) it’s on the market for $12.85 million. And then I was going to include it in an In the News roundup, because seven years is a long time. And then I decided to do a whole post because—let’s face it—people have an insatiable desire for this kind of thing, the way I do for web traffic.
Roman and Williams designed the place. Of note:
••• “The gigantic bed in the master bedroom (so enormous that sheets had to be custom-made) was designed so every last family member can sit together on it, cousins and pets included.”
••• The swing is made from an antique Indian door.
••• At least some of the wallpaper is hand-embroidered.
••• “The family in question is solidly based in LA.”
The Goop text is by Christina Spates and the photos are by Björn Wallander. The two bedroom photos are from seven years ago, included here to round it out.

‘And then I decided to do a whole post because—let’s face it—people have an insatiable desire for this kind of thing, the way I do for web traffic” ……ha! lol.
Beautiful. The all-white aesthetic makes the space even more sunny, almost blindingly so, but I love it.
