A new venue combines food, drink and axe throwing — a surprisingly fun and complementary combination. And the first of its kind in Manhattan.

Sidewalk cafe for kids only. Downtown Yogurt puts a height maximum on its sidewalk setup; the Frederick Hotel bar will reopen soon; 250 Water hearing tonight and tomorrow.

SUSHI OF GARI CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS
The restaurant, which opened here 2012, will reopen in October.

AN UPDATE ON THE HOTEL AT 456 GREENWICH
The eight-story hotel on Desbrosses is scheduled for completion in April, ready for occupancy next June, with 96 rooms and three restaurants.
