A RIVAL FOR SUSHI YASUDA
Notices posted at 175 Franklin (next to Shinola) said a restaurant called Sushi Tatsu would be opening there, which was scary because of the three dismal-looking Sushi Tatsus in Brooklyn. Then the founders of this Sushi Tatsu handed out a letter explaining everything: It will be helmed by a chef from Sushi Yasuda and designed by a Pritzker Prize–winning architect, with a whiskey bar in the basement.
