Buy a Coffee and Help the ACLU

Sprudge, a website about coffee, has inspired cafés across the country to donate a percentage of proceeds this weekend (starting today) to the American Civil Liberties Union. A bunch of local cafés are onboard.

Remix Is in Hot Water

The occasionally notorious nightclub at 27 Park Place has had its liquor license suspended. The State Liquor Authority cited 49 violations, including operating as an adult-entertainment establishment. As you can see here, it's quite the list.
