Sprudge, a website about coffee, has inspired cafés across the country to donate a percentage of proceeds this weekend (starting today) to the American Civil Liberties Union. A bunch of local cafés are onboard.

Architectural Digest featured a lovely Tribeca home designed by the mother-daughter team of Suzanne and Lauren McGrath. The owners “liked the downtown vibe but didn’t want to forego design elements more typical of an Upper East Side prewar building."

The occasionally notorious nightclub at 27 Park Place has had its liquor license suspended. The State Liquor Authority cited 49 violations, including operating as an adult-entertainment establishment. As you can see here, it's quite the list.
